Berrien County Alcohol Task Force (BCAT) This task force works to change the environment surrounding alcohol-related issues with the goal of reducing high-risk drinking behaviors in Berrien County and lowering the number of lives lost and damage done because of alcohol-related traffic crashes. Muskegon Substance Abuse Collaborative Treatment Committee The mission of the treatment committee is to create and support enhanced service delivery and accessibility for those individuals who seek treatment for substance abuse. This is accomplished through maintaining a network of groups, agencies, and organizations that deal with substance abuse treatment issues, and promoting communication to ensure a more efficient treatment process and avoid unwarranted duplication of services. Ottawa Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (OSAP) Vision Statement: We who live, work, and care about youth in Ottawa County will prevent youth substance use through effective, coordinated and sustainable action. CHOOSE (Communities Helping Ottawa Obtain a Safer Environment) is a community-based collaborative effort that focuses on environmental and policy change regarding alcohol.
